Vintage meets contemporary flair at The Duchy
Originally established as "Brasserie 1806" in 2008 by Peter Siling, The Duchy is a restaurant on the first floor of the luxurious five-star Breidenbacher Hof hotel. In 2018, it underwent a transformation in collaboration with the Georgous Group from London.
The redesign resulted in an enchanting dining destination blending vintage elegance and contemporary vivacity, capturing the essence of a fictitious character known as "The Duchy" – a carefree, aristocratic spirit, with international sophistication and a taste for the finer things in life.
Greeting guests is a charming historic interior, inspired by classic Parisian brasseries, while expanding its stylistic horizons to encompass a wider European flair. This translates into a well-balanced composition of wooden elements, mirrors, and curated art, along with warm colour palettes and the use of fine fabrics.
A modern interpretation of a treasured classic, The Duchy embraces the cultural heritage of Europe through a design that exudes a chic and timeless allure, inviting guests to indulge in gastronomic fare and savour a dining experience unlike any other.
