As a procurement agent, Peter Silling & Associates works on behalf of the client in recommending and liaising with sources and suppliers, carrying out tender process and negotiations, selecting materials and products and continually overseeing and monitoring these items in production.

During the crucial development stage, we ensure that in-depth, detailed designs are fully coordinated across all design disciplines. Comprehensive construction documents are produced and shared with all relevant stakeholders. 

Preliminary construction plans are then developed and coordinated to give full and detailed information regarding aspects including ceiling design, floor finishing, intended MEP requirements and furnishing arrangements. The general material schedule for each space in the project is also developed to assist the BOQ process.

Layout plans, general colour and material palettes for each space within the design are further explored, revised and finalised during the schematic design phase. We will constantly liaise with you to ensure your involvement and expectations are addressed and surpassed. 

Detailed sketches, 3D computer renderings and material mood boards are delivered to you for final schematic design approval. Each of these is developed within the project’s budget and programme constraints.

The first stage of any design project is to take detailed instruction on your tastes, inspiration, and requirements.

We research thoroughly to understand and incorporate relevant local substance appropriate to the design, conduct comprehensive market research and put together an in-depth design and construction programme for the project. 

To ensure full and comprehensive financial clarity, an initial interior budget is prepared in close collaboration with you during this preliminary design phase. Space planning, mood images and initial material palettes are also developed and presented at this time.
